A Positive Turning Point

For Sam and his family, Bee Me Kidz has been more than a program—it’s been a turning point.

Sam is a Grade 3 student with significant medical and behavioural needs. He usually requires full-time in-school support, so at first, his family wasn’t sure if he could attend the Bee Me Kidz Saturday program without a 1:1 Educational Assistant (EA).

But with support from our team, Sam gave it a try—and something amazing happened. He started coming to the program and began to thrive. Week by week, he became more engaged, more confident and eventually, was able to participate fully without extra support.

Now, Sam is not only part of the Saturday program—he’s helping out by volunteering to unpack food for the group. 💪

His progress is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when kids are given a safe, supportive space to grow at their own pace. 🐝

Sam’s story is one of the many ways Bee Me Kidz is making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Find out more about our program and how you can support it at the link in our bio.
