A 6-Year-Old’s Journey Building Emotional Control

A 6-year-old new to the Bee Me Kidz program is already learning valuable skills that are helping him understand his emotions and manage challenging situations. During a recent conversation with his foster parent, we learned how he’s bringing home learnings from Bee Me Kidz class that’s really making a difference at home. He knows what he’s feeling when something happens, and how to calm himself down. And he can talk to his guardian about it.

Thanks to the support from Bee Me Kidz, he’s gained the tools to recognize and name his emotions, giving him a sense of control. It’s more than just teaching kids how to feel—it’s about helping them understand their emotions, manage them and express them in healthy ways. For this little one, Bee Me Kidz has become an invaluable part of his emotional growth and development.
